The most common types of pigment enhancements are Lips and Eyeliner - Lash-enhancement tattoo, also known as invisible eyeliner. ... This is just to fill in between the lashes to create the illusion of thicker, darker, and completely full lashes without looking lined or like obvious make-up. This can be done just on top or the bottom or on both lashes.
A beautifully applied eyelash enhancement is fundamental in accentuating and enhancing the shape, colour and size of your eyes. Besides convenience, Eyelash Enhancement Tattoo is the perfect solution for anyone with allergies, contact lens sensitivity, dexterity issues, vision problems or an active lifestyle. The artistic placement of colour and line can also help correct the appearance of certain eye shapes and facial asymmetry.
Eyelash Enhancement Tattoo will quite literally enhance your life, adding depth, definition, and lift to the eyes so that they appear larger and more striking, and lashes appear thicker and fuller.
For a subtle, ‘barely there’ look, Lash Enhancement will discreetly define and frame your eyes. An extremely thin line of colour is implanted between the lashes creating fuller, thicker, lovelier-looking lashes. Lash Line Enhancement rejuvenates the eye area without the noticeable effect of make-up, for a strikingly natural, fuller-lash appearance.
Lip blushing is a form of semi-permanent makeup. Essentially, it is a cosmetic tattoo of the lips that enhances the beauty of the natural lip color, improving the shape of the lips, giving definition and the illusion of fullness.
“This treatment delivers very natural results, once healed. Filler is great for creating volume in your lips, but lip blush delivers a more natural look and give the illusion of fuller lips.”
As this is a more detailed type of work on a very sensitive area pls refer to our FAQ's page on Lip blushing and what the contraindications are and what you must do to prepare for a treatment.... click here...
Whether the service is for eyes, lips or scar camouflaging the process is the same... A tiny mechanized needle deposits pigment into the area being treated which builds layers of color. It can be a corrective service to help even out the evening out color tones of area, correct previous work or add to the look you are wanting but it can also help with asymmetry.
Unlike traditional permanent cosmetic tattoos are an evolved service that’s meant to provide natural looking, long-lasting results.
How Permanent Is It?
It is similar to a cosmetic service like microblading—which utilizes a blade to manually create small cuts in the skin, which are then filled with ink—the results vary person to person. Generally, lip blushing can last several years, although your lifestyle contributes to how well it maintains; smoking and sun exposure can speed up the fading process, and if you’re oil-prone, have an iron deficiency or use a lot of exfoliating products in your skin regimen, the pigment could fade more quickly, too.

What to Expect From Your Appointment [Using the example of lips /eyeliner / powder brows as these are the most common]
First, there’s pout prep. A topical anesthetic is applied to pre-numb the area for 20-40 minutes. Afterwards, we will draw the shape of the “new” lips / liner so that you can evaluate and make any changes.
Once you as the client are happy with the shape, we begin the actual process. The procedure takes approx. 2-3 hours..depending on the look you’re going for. Once the appointment is completed, the treated area may be swollen—it is a tattoo, after all—so you can ice them if necessary.
Over the next week, your PMU will start to heal, meaning will / may scab, so it’s important to time this carefully around your schedule.
THINGS NOT TO DO
TOUCH UPS
Allow your PMU a MINIMUM of 4 weeks to heal before booking a touch up. This gives you the time to decide if you do or do not need a touch up appointment. It's takes a full 4 weeks for the colour to settle.
It is your responsibility to book your touch up appointments. Please keep the high demand in mind. If your tattoo comes back too faded additional charges may apply.
LONG TERM CARE
THERE IS NO GUARANTEE OF RESULTS as everyone’s result will vary due to skin type, lifestyle and the initial 10 day care and longterm care of your PMU procedure.

- DO NOT expect your PMU tattoos to heal perfectly after the first session. This can be a 2 step process. It takes time. BE PATIENT during your 10 day healing process your brows will change and appear different from day to day.
- Around days 4-5 you will experience flaking and your brows may look dry. DO NOT PICK your SCABS, let any dryness fall off naturally. If flakes gets picked off prematurely pigments can come out and cause patchy looks which can lead to scarring.
- Your PMU tattoo will take up to 4 weeks to fully heal before another touch or session can be done. When the flaking comes off the color may seem faint this is because a fresh layer of skin has healed over the tattoo. Give it a few weeks and the color will become clearer. Colour will continue to change on a daily basis until all healing is complete at the 4 week mark.
- You may experience itchiness in the PMU area after the 10 days for up to 2 months due to the healing process of the dermal layer.
- Not everyones PMU tattoo can heal clean and crisp. For oilier skin types tend to heal more solid and powdery while drier skin types tend to heal more crisp and defined. Also for those who bleed more may tend to need more touchups as the blood pushes the pigment out while we tattoo.
THINGS NOT TO DO
- DO NOT expose your brows to the sun during the healing process. UV Rays can alter the pigment of your tattoo. Following the first 10 days SPF is important for the longevity your micropigmentation.
- DO NOT sweat excessively for 10 days. Sweat contains salt and can infect and prematurely fade your brow tattoo. Salt in the sweat may also alter the colour of your tattoo. Moderate exercise is fine.
- DO NOT run direct water on your brow tattoo. This is especially important in the first few days, you do not want to wash out any pigment.
- DO NOT use Vaseline on your tattoo.
- DO NOT use any makeup, creams, exfoliants on the brows for 10 days.
- DO NOT go into sauna’s, pools, and steam rooms.
- DO NOT get massages or facials or skin treatments during the healing process.
- DO NOT go tanning and if you do cover your PMU tattoo, UV rays can alter the colour of your tattoo.
- DO not use exfoliants, retinol acids, or AHA’s on the treated area. It will fade your tattoo prematurely.
- DO NOT use laser light therapy on your brow tattoo. This can darken, lighten, and distort the pigment.

- Touch ups are typically done within the first 3 months after the initial appointment.
- This can be a 2 (and sometimes even 3) step process.
- The first session is used to build shape and gain symmetry.
- The second session is used to perfect the work and add density.
- This is a process and some clients may need multiple sessions to achieve their desired result.
- Do not expect perfect results after the first session.
- Darker skin and oily skin women, permanent makeup will not look as bold or sharp compared to lighter, dryer skin type clients.

LONG TERM CARE

What is the Healing process?
LIPS
For the first 24 hours, I advise my clients to gently blot their lips with a wet cotton pad and let them air dry. This is to keep the treated area clean and remove any body fluids that have surfaced and prevent the fluids from forming scabs.”
When it comes to scabs, it’s important that they fall off naturally—picking them can result in scarring or loss of pigment in those areas. We suggest avoiding workouts and sun exposure for two weeks (a great excuse to avoid the gym if we do say so ourselves) and if you plan on getting injections, wait a full month.
Sleeping on your face could also cause the scabs to fall off prematurely. We provide an ointment which should be worn to keep the treated area properly moisturized.
For Lip blushing...THIS IS IMPORTANT.... do not judge your results after your lips are HEALED...it takes 6-8 weeks for you to see your final results. [see healing images time lapsed below]
Initially, the color will be super vibrant, almost like a lip stain. “It is important not to be misled by the immediate ‘after’ results. The immediate results look nothing like when the lips are healed. Once healed, the color fades approximately 30-50 percent and also blends in with the natural lip color,”
Scabbing typically lasts five to seven days, and after four weeks, the lips should be fully healed to completion, but we do suggest a touch-up appointment around six weeks in the event you want to alter the shape of the blush, or to fill in areas that may have rejected pigment, although it’s not mandatory. This touch up cost is NOT included in the original apt price.
Eyeliner
Your skin will be temporarily sensitized after the treatment and you should adhere to the following instructions for the next 10 days.
This will help avoid infection and allow time for the skin to recover. If you apply makeup during the next 5 days following your treatment, you do so entirely at your own risk.
Healing can take up to 10 days and it is perfectly normal for small scabbing to appear on the treated area. These should be allowed to fall off naturally over a period of a few days.
After the treatment; It is also normal for there to be fading of the color during the first 2 weeks and patchy sections, as the skin is still healing and the pigment will return to the surface in about 30 days. The outcome will be subtle. This IS NOT eyeliner tattoo, it is Eyelash Enhancement. A soft shadowed enhancement to your lash line to create the illusion of fuller lashes. This will not replace the use of eyeliner but instead give you a natural eye enhancement.
Instructions
Wait 6 weeks for full healing prior to deciding if you require a touch up. Colour will fade 30-40%. Most do not require one however if you feel you would benefit from an additional session please feel free to book a touch up appointment.
Cautions
If small scabs appear on the treated area, DO NOT TOUCH THEM. They will fall off in a few days. There are no implied or written guarantees if you don’t take care of your Permanent Makeup. Should infection occur, seek immediate medical attention.
POWDER BROWS
Healing and Aftercare
For both the powdered ombré and combination brows, healing takes 2-3 weeks. For the first 3 days your brows will be very dark, and then they will start to scab. Unlike microblading that scabs in patches, powder brows scab in one big (or a few big) pieces
Your freshly powdered eyebrows will look swollen and too dark at first, which is normal. The pigment will gradually fade away and they will look good after a couple of weeks. Also, they can be a little bit itchy at first, but you mustn't scratch them.
When can I wash my face after powder brows?
After 24 hours: Minimal contact with water, if they get wet, be sure to gently pat dry. Resume normal face washing with a gentle cleanser, but avoid submersing them into or dousing them in water. For the first 24-72 hours: Brows will be the darkest at this point!
You can pretty much follow similar healing with powder brows as with microblading as the concepts are basically the same, except with the bigger scabbing. Learn more about microblading healing by clicking here.
