3D PARAMEDICAL AREOLA TATTOOING ..... a cosmetic procedure that is done in the area of the breast where the nipple would normally be. A 3D Areola Tattoo recreates the nipple and areola using pigments to shadow and highlight to create the optical illusion a nipple exists and protrusion to the nipple mound.
Additional depth and character are added to the Tattoo by creating Montgomery glands and wrinkles that mimic constriction of the nipple. In our field of Micropigmentation, we tend to perform this procedure on people who:
Have areolar loss due to mastectomy
Have areolar scarring due to nipple sparing mastectomies
Breast lift scars
Breast loss due to burn
Breast reduction scars
Hypo-pigmented areolas
Weight loss surgery in men
As with all types of paramedical tattooing, there are many questions that need to be answered. Most of these can be answered during the consultation process...we also have a FAQ's document that can help answer the most commonly asked questions.
